My job VS the blog

Hello Blonde Lovers!

In my previous post “My home town and a little bit about myself” I promised you another post explaining more about my job and The Blonde Diary.

I’ve been working in product development since I graduated from IADT, Fashion Design Major. I currently work as a technical designer at a Florida based company. For those of you who don’t know what that means, I am responsible for the construction and fit of the garments and work closely with designers and sourcing to develop new product. I really love what I do and definitely see myself continuing this journey. So, if you are ever wondering why I am never active on week days, now you know what I am doing!

Almost 2 years ago, on September 10th, we started The Blonde Diary as a hobby and quickly realized it is a full time job! With all of us working full time jobs, it’s really hard to keep up with everything. We absolutely love the journey, the things we get to do, and the people we get to meet. Our goal for this year was to stop stressing about posts, followers, and collaborations and to enjoy all the fun parts of it. We love the area we live in and are trying to get involved with more local boutiques and events to help promote the great things happening around here! We were invited to a few local fashion events in September and are looking forward to all of them. We will be posting details on social media!

P.S. All of the pictures were taken during my trip to Bulgaria in the beautiful Botanical gardens in Balchik. I am wearing a two piece set by Lovers and Friends (crop top, skirt)

xoxo,
Do what you love

  1. Blogging can be a lot of work and time on top of a 9 – 5 job and I’m earning no money from my blog BUT I still do it because it’s what I love. Your blog is so fun to read so just keep doing what you’re doing because you’re doing great at it!

  2. I love that dress on you! So cool! I do blogging full time and it can get stressful sometimes but at the end of the day I do really love what I do! It’s amazing that you are able to juggle blogging with a full-time job as I don’t know how I would do it… lol feels like I don’t have enough time in a day already to get things done blogging related! You’re a rock star! xo, sharon

  3. I guess most bloggers lead a double life juggling their full time jobs while managing their websites. I used to stress myself with all the nuisance of blogging but I eventually came to realize that I should just enjoy every facet of it.

  4. I love your dress. Also I totally can relate with you on juggling between blogging and work. I feel like that’s not as easy since you get tired/busy and also it’s always great to really wind down a bit since blogging can get stressful from time to time.

  5. Your dress looks amazing. I absolutely feel you. I would have never thought that blogging would take up so much time. So you can be really proud getting both done. The job and the blog.

  6. That’s really great to feel that we should enjoy the journey and cherish amazing people we meet rather than getting bogged up with followers all the time. Blogging is indeed a full time job rather needs more dedication than the professional job.

  7. Blogging is truly a nice job, though tedious but as long as you love what you’re doing then, you’ll never go wrong with it. Enjoy blogging and we’re keeping an eye to read it.

  8. Blogging is not an easy way to earn money. It takes time and a whole lot of hard work. However, if we enjoy what we are doing, then it is a walk in the park. We don’t have to post new articles everyday, just focus on great content, once a week is fine as long as the article has value for our readers. Oh, BTW, your dress is so pretty. I love the photo shoot location too.

  9. First of all I want to compliment your outfit. It looks fab and you look stunning. Blogging can be a hectic and though to those who also do other tasks/work but as long as we love what we do, nothing is impossible
